My Presto 6N Cutterhead Project
Hi all
I'm planning to build my Presto 6N Cutterhead.
For now no name. Just in the prototype phase.
So I'm planning the body but first I'd like some help in my 'twitter' or 'exciter' route.
My presto 6N was rewounded to 8oms.
Based on that, I could use this 'exciter', correct?

Or should I use this:

What are you guys using? Any Presto projects around?
Will be posting pics and my progress here.
Thanks all

First prototypes.
Acrylic body. 2 transducer 4ohms. Nilon screws.
So far 122g. Missing torque tube and mounting for Presto.
I'll need to adjust the transducer. Not too much room for the dashpot.

Nice looking thus far! Are the drivers just ones you had laying around? or can you post a link to where you got them?

Ah, thanks! Will a 10w driver be enough for a lathe?
I thought it had to be around 40 to get enough vibration.
(I could be completely wrong)
