General mastering tips for vinyl
Hi guys,
I absolutely love this forum, I'm learning a lot...and quickly.
I'm practising mastering specifically for vinyl, what are the down and dirty fundamentals for mastering specifically for this medium? I'm thinking of a Top of the Pops top 10 rundown of what to do an not do when mastering for vinyl.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Cheeers,
Romoorio

...BTW, I forgot to mention I understand mixing and mastering speak having done it for mates for a while now. But I've never mastered specifically for vinyl.
I know there will be some limitations to the medium so I guess I'm looking for 'mastering must dos' before cutting.

Tip 1!
If you end up making a "vinyl version" that is different from the digital master that the artist approved, be sure to get the artists/clients approval on it before sending it in to be cut.
