Alpha toolex on billboard 1974
Interesting article on this famous manufacturer of record presses, according to the article, as of 1974 they had 135 auto machines in the field and 900 manual/semiauto ones
The interesting thing is that a lot of the autos have survived still pressing away they where made up and until 1980-2 numbers of autos produced are all over the place
Assuming they numbered sequentially there are no serial numbers above 500 that we know of
It seems that the percentage of autos still around is quite high since there are around 100 odd machines in the field
The fate of the manuals is really sad as there are less than 20 around the world out of say 1000, as a guess
They still made them until the late 70s

It also seems that Pheenix alpha has started manufacturing the AD?? Again let's see what happens as there is nothing on their website about that
Best

I can inform the members here on the forum that the new AD12 presses are in progress. Material for the first batch of presses have been ordered and we have signed orders for a number of presses.
I will be happy to answer any questions.
