sakuszi, if you post some photos of the inside of your most recent head, readers may be able to suggest a change for improvement. Please make sure the photos are well lit and in focus.sakuszi wrote:with me at all is inaudible channel separation, just a little phase difference

hey Saku .. somehow, we see (more or less) always the same videos of you. You'd maybe take pictures of your cutting head, so that I and others can see where you think might be errors. Only then can we make suggestions for improvements. This works even if the photos are sharp and you can see something on it. I told you the way last time already! best regards. ..

Hi Scotty,
Thanks very much for the photographic uploads I requested, it's very much appreciated thanks. I was scratching my head trying to visualise how the "Stabilser" link rods connected to both the support posts, and to the cone/pushrod/stylus holder, I was really curious about how these connections are made. When the use of Brass rod was discussed, I mistakenly thought that soldering was on the cards, and thought also about the attendant problems of applying heat to them in such an area. It looks like these connections are simply made by the judicious application of a dab of epoxy, is that correct? Though I'm reckoning getting everything aligned beforehand is the key to making things work propperly. Did you have an alignment jig of some sort, like you used when aligning the cones to the tweeters or was it a case of applying an absolute mininmum of epoxy, tweeking till aligned then applying a little more? I hope you don't mind the questions but it would be interesting to learn a little more about the assembly modus operandi.
Cheers Soulbear

Yes, these are Bonds with epoxy resin and not soldered!
To keep the stabilizing rods in the correct position, I built a device with which I can hold the head and can hold by application of joints and alligator clips the rods in the correct position to bond them.
For the cone on the tweeters, I have also built my device with which I can keep this right in the middle and glue. (2k epoxy!) The bars are all made of 1.2mm brass! the stylus holder (this is also glued with epoxy resin) consists of nylon (as small as it gets!) in which I made the conical bore of the diamond 340p! this has a back angle of exactly 15 degrees!
best regards..

Make these changes and it will help. But you should re-think the spring at the rear of the torque tube.

wow .. Sakuszi, .. since you have much glued. you have a lot of mass that must be moved. As already mentioned, you make a clean work who is up to date. So you lose the overview. I must first See where is what, but Bryan has found something with which I agree! I'll see what I can do, although Bryan has more idea about Cutting Heads! Let's see what we can do, four, eight ... eyes see more.sakuszi wrote:saku ch5

Gentlemen, thanks! eliminated errors, and a few hours of tests, and once series production [in China of course] $ 5 a piece [100000 units per week]
