Hi Lathe Trolls - I'm selling a refurbished Rek-O-Kut Challenger that was originally produced in the 1950s in NY. It is a great, almost all-in-one machine for cutting mono records, as it includes an analog preamp and RCA cutterhead. We used the machine to cut on 7", 10", and 12" blanks, but it can also be used to emboss. The cover includes a speaker, which makes it a great machine for doing pop-ups. We used it to both cut vinyl records from digital sources and do direct-to-vinyl recording pop-ups around the Boston area. The Reverb listing is below.

The machine is priced at $5,750 and includes the lathe, a cutting stylus, the belt-drive motor (the original direct-drive motor was removed at some point,) all the parts it came with, a compressor, a dashpot counterweight kit, and 25 7" records. I'll also have a set-up discussion with you to talk about best practices and how to set everything up.
PM me if you have any questions or if you are in the Northeast US, if you want to talk about a meet-up. Thanks!
Vinny
