Hi trolls - I wanted to let people know that I now have PC boards for the Phono Transfer System in stock which include both the flat preamp and the RIAA EQ/Monitor Switcher board.
I don't have the web page built for them on the http://www.ka-electronics.com site but the ebay listings for them may be found here: http://www.ebay.com/cln/wayne2646/audio-mastering-tools-from-wayne-kirkwood/173444429010
The construction information is on the Pro Audio Design Forum http://www.proaudiodesignforum.com/forum/php/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=753
Paul Gold will be handling the fully-assembled units for those that don't have the time to DIY their own completed system.

Re: Phono Transfer System Boards Available
I just got a set of these boards in the mail and they look really well done. Looking forward to building them.
I've also been using the KA Mid-Side board in my cutting rig and it is a great, really powerful really versatile circuit.

Re: Phono Transfer System Boards Available
I've been using one for about a month now as reference playback from the lathe. It's by far the best playback quality I've ever had. It's possible to have totally buzz and hum free playback. Not an easy trick with the polluted ground bus of a Neumann lathe.
I will have a "demo unit" available to check out for those who want me to make a finished unit. You would buy assembled and tested boards from Wayne and have them sent to me. I would assemble a unit.
