Hello Thomas
It weighs about 900-100o lbs and it is in sunny Australia
Made by Capitol Records in the USA Solid as brick craphouse
Doubt if you want it air freighted
Another one in the UK bigger and havier close to a tonne as a guess
The 1 tonne forklift struggles
Same story No air freight
Serously These things are messy and noisy Why dont you get George at GK to knock you up an air operated one A days rejects can be dealt with in about 15-20 minutes
Or your two great act hydraulic guys will do it in no time
If you want a photo of ours let me know
Cheers

Chris hello,
Thanks for the reply.
What you are referring to is the automatic slide type? Should not weigh half ton. I think what you talking about removes more than one at a time. Post photo lets see. You know on the Toolex 7", the large hole "dinker"? Its 6" or 8" short throw cylinder on slide with tooling. I am looking for that and the 12" hole punch version.
The hydraulic guys last project was 500 ton press, they like big stuff.
George is too busy.
Thanks for the reply.

large hole punches
Thomas
For the 7" dinker air is good enough to do the trick with a set of punch and dies from a turret punch
I have seen them sold in the USA for small money
Recycling 12" so as to punch out the centre yes you are right it takes about 100 records at a time and a good deal of hydraulic power
The one in Auss has a 7.5 HP power pack driving it and yes it is around a tonne as the side plates and the plattens are about 2" thick solid steel
They where made to last and they have lasted indeed
any way here are a couple ideas for you to have a look at

This one with a little mod will do the dinking as it seems that it has about 2-3 inches from centre to the back maybe a new bridge machined out of aluminium

This one will do the dinking but overpriced in my view

A definite good one for dinking for sure and about the right price A set of punch and die another say $150
Another $300-500 for a bit of machining for some means of mounting the punch and die, done around the $1K
I can keep on looking for you if you wish but I am sure you get the idea so you can search yourself
let us know the result
Cheers
