Can anyone identify the make and model of this lathe? I found it at an estate, and have another with no motor or cutter. Any tips would be appreciated.

Judging by the Fairchild head it does look like the top of a Fairchild lathe

It looks worse than it is. It is mostly shingle dust from sitting in an attic. The platter spins without a sound. There is another just like like it, sans motor and head, and with slightly longer legs. Any idea as to the model or era?
