Tips on microscopes for inspecting grooves
I was searching the forum to see if there were any specs I should be looking for in regards to inspection microscopes in terms of magnification or specific models I should look for. Then I was wondering if there is any reason to not use digital microscopes?
Re: Tips on microscopes for inspecting grooves

Re: Tips on microscopes for inspecting grooves
You would need a high resolution and likely expensive digital microscope if you wanted to go that route. Low resolution ones "work" but do not give you the detail you are looking for. For instance, it is hard to tell if your center line is a nice perfect cut with a cheap usb scope. But, with the optical scope you can see that detail. On screen, you get pixel fuzz.
