advantage of heated diamond?

Hi

I am interested in cutting vinyl straight to PVC and was intrigued by the caruso cutting head. I couldn't see on the website, so I am gueesing it doesn't have a heated diamond cutter? I notice the Souri machine does (he doesn't seem to want to sell to me). I was wandering what the advantages were with a heated cutting head? I notice the caruso reckons about 50 hours of cutting time, where as the T560 rekons about 300 hours. It would make sense in my mind that a heated head would maybe make the cut easier and improve longevity, but I was wandering wether there were any other advantages/disadvantages?

Thanks

Johny

I'm surprised Souri hasn't sold you any of his items... 8)
