the poor mans cylinder phonograph, if your interested in recording on wax cylinders but dont want to spend 100s of dollars on an Edison cylinder phonograph, consider the Dictaphone dictation machine. these machines are cheap and can make first rate recordings. these will cost a tenth or less than an Edison cylinder phonograph, the second video is a 1925 dictaphone that i picked up for 10 bucks and can record for upwards of 10 minutes, are electric rather than spring powered and are really C H E A P !!!
