Thank you for sharing it with us. This is cutting at the TOP level! Fascinating!
Re: multi groove at Aardvark records
Heavy support, sled, a lot of aluminum, but in my machine, lathe it is much heavier because there is a 500mm long cast iron T-shaped base, cast iron bodies, steel guides, cast iron, weighs more than 45 kg, must be removed by two people, or disassembled into individual elements, made to last forever, I foresee servicing the guides and support no sooner than in 10 years, then I will remove them. Terrifyingly thick trapezoidal screws in this Scully, a slight exaggeration..., where a fly will push the support..., a lot of mechanical factors, I probably suspect that this machine is not very quiet, but in the 60s of the last century noise on records was a normal concept. In today's times, where digital devices have absolutely sensational parameters, it will be very difficult to achieve a reasonably good sound in vinyl records and the quality of recordings is not terrifyingly low. Only DMM can slightly, slightly come close to even the most primitive digital devices such as mp3, but the level of noise and crackle, distortion, the frequency response of DMM technology will not reach mp3 devices, unfortunately... I treat it as advanced fun, not for profit, like this guy in the film. Thanks, Swiss, interesting film.
