should be a great opportunity to get so many folks in this world in the same spot...raw material manufacturers, pressing plant operators, vinyl cutters, record labels, packaging fabricators...i'm really looking forward to this

Re: Making Vinyl
Anyone know if there's any similar event in Europe? It could be great to have an event like this here!
Thanks and congratulations for this vinyl purpose!

Re: Making Vinyl
There is a conference in Eindhoven, Netherlands on June 4th and 5th, 2018, The World of Physical Media Conference. The conference is being hosted by the MEDIA-TECH in partnership with the Green Vinyl Project, the MEDIA-TECH Vinyl Working Group, the Pure Audio Group, and Colonial Purchasing Europe. It will focus on the world of physical media, and in a large the resurgence of the vinyl.
I've attached a couple of links that talk about the event and who will be presenting. You will also be able to register and see pricing.

Re: Making Vinyl
There is also another conference taking place in London with a view to taking it worldwide just as Replitech for the optical disc industry was held on three continents each year. That was a lot of conferences/expos the industry felt obliged to atttend.
That is, until one of the usual exhibitors decided not to exhibit but rather hang out at the cafeteria and buy everybody lunch, thereby filling his order book for just the cost of admission. Other exhibitors took note and followed suit and Replitech was finished.
The industry took control and staged its own conference and expo at decent prices, thereby cutting out the promotors and bringing the cost of participating down to a reasonable level.
