micropoint 340 stylus?

I know the 350 is for the 3D. what is the 340 for?

340 was an attempt to match the stylus to the lacquer
They supplied it with a box of lacquers from a particular batch so it was "matched"
Nothing special A marketing ploy by the lovely lady that run the outfit
I have used them successfully in straight out cutting

interesting, how can a stylus match a certain lacquer...?

3D stands for Westrex 3D stereo cutterhead...
