Hi Lathers! I have purchased a 9cfm Vacuum pump (see photos) I have a 1" clear pipe travelling down to the swarf box (VR) and then the normal size to the lathe.. Intermittently it will not suck up the swarf and ball up on the diamond, making the discs into frisbees. I have since gone back to househo...

What pick up needles do you use/recommend?
Hey folks..
What pick up (monitoring) needles/cartridges do you use?
I am using a Shure White label. Can no longer get the authentic Shure tips, so will need to change. I always liked these pick up needles.
Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated....

Re: Question for VR owners (who went for training)
Mine was posted to Australia. All good. If I could do it all again I would ditch most of the Souri equipment as it's not good.
Just the cutterhead and main mechanical parts. Leave the audio stuff and buy your own locally... and better quality!

Re: Question for VR owners (who went for training)
Not sure about deposit. It’s a large machine but you should just buy the main parts, without his amp, mixer, and other hardware as you’ll replace them for better cuts.
So yes you should be able to take that in a padded suitcase. But take some bubble wrap too
