The thing i don't like about cds is that industrial artists (coil, nihilist spasm band) will press 1000 copies, never looking back, with those cds being sold for terrible sums of money on ebay

Well if you have a lot of money to spend you might be better off getting the records pressed in europe, because the sound quality will help strengthen your labels reputation, in my opinion.

When I get stuff made by him, I'm going to do a bank draft note or something along those lines so I don't have to risk losing cash in the mail

I was looking at some of those vids earlier, they are cool

I just have a question, I'm thinking of getting a lathe done with him and was wondering if he is willing to do one side 45 rpm and one side 33 rpm

does anyone know?

Raising the tonearm level on my stanton turntable

Hi, I have a new-ish stanton turntable, their latest generation. I'm having a problem where the stylus holder scratches on my records. Is there any way I could Raise the height of the tonearm to fix this?

thanks

i've got no experience with cutting on cd-r's but i can tell you that vinyl dubs don't degrade that fast. If you take good care of them the can last loooongtime! I guess cd-r's will last quit long too as the're made of a special plastic compound i think... Meaby i'll test it out with an old needle!...

It all would depend on what lathe system your using, and what playback system you would use becuase lots of record players dont play in the very middle ,say where the label would be. But I would say max 3min, and thats really pushing it, 2min is more realistic. -theo ok, thanks im considering offer...
