I've not done myself yet but that's the idea as I understand it. Hey! I'm on a learning curve here too. :) Seams to be many materials the folks cut on....

Presto Case Covering
Hi:
Does anyone here know what the cabinet covering material is on Presto products. The material on both my K8 and 6N is the same. Any ideas as where to find something at least close to this?
Thanks
Doug

I've been reading your posts of trials and tribulations.
I wish you the best in getting the bugs out of your setup.

CDR Cutting ?
Hi everyone:
I see a lot of posts about using CDR for cutting. I have a question. What do you do about center hole size. Make an adaptor to fit the present size center or somehow cut the center hole larger and then use a 45 adaptor?
How are those involved in this doing it?
Thanks
Doug

Presto Amp wanted
Hi Amp Doc:
Just if your interested this is a Presto 87A. Not the model I'm looking for but I'd be interested if it turns out to be unmodified. Will have to see what the seller has to say about it.

K 8 Tire
Hi everyone:
Anyone have a idea or solution to replacing the drive tire on the K8? Mine is shrunken and hard and imparts lots of mechanical noise onto the recording. I've tried turning it inside out. Some help but not much.
Thanks
