Good to know this is not entirely made of plastic. If the record can't be heated, can the needle be heated? This can't do 12" records unfortunately. Be a lot cooler if it did.

Is anyone really buying these? Seems way overpriced for something made mostly out of plastic.

Do you know of any other cutter heads that will work without modifying the m-12 other than the Astatic m-41?

Thanks, it worked too! I have since replaced it with a Rek-o-Kut m-12/Rondine l-34.

This is what you do when you want to cut a 12" record but can't afford a real lathe...

Does anyone here know which terminal screws to connect the audio to on this lathe? Page 2 of the manual seems to be incorrect. It says to make all audio connections to the TB-2 terminal.
