Each side of every record is one groove. Lead in is the silent part of the beginning and lead out is the silent part of the side's end. You can find more informations on youtube.

Try one by one 3 steps:

1. Try another blanks (Myshank or better [if you have the opportunity] Sourie's vinylrecorder-stuff)

2. Setup in a better way the cutterhead's counterweight, (smooth move).

3. Setup the turntable's flatness. Other trolls explained allready.

Hello, I have the same result sometimes. The problem is coming only from the blank disc.

Your PC includes licenced software 100%? I think 99% of all the users here and worldwide-in every home-pc, have many software which are not official licence. Maybe this is bad in some reasons maybe not. I support the idea to try for free and if you like ok then you can support the buy. So, stay cool.
