I took the cutter head of the lathe. Than remove the back screw on the head. Removed the back cover. Than using a thick paper, removed the 'dust' that you see in this picture. You can see that the magnets have some small pieces in there. Between the small hole where you attach your stylus. Hope this...
Hi All I'm having some weird volume/quality issue today. I have my Presto 6N setup with a 224 LPI and a 160 LPI. Using a Diamond stylus. I have a few cuts yesterday with both LPI's and all is good. Sounds great. Great volume, pitch, depth,... But today, for some reason that I can't explain, the volu...
Bryan's procedure instructed you to start out with the current adjust control all the way down. On many power supplies, this will keep the supply from generating any voltage output since it is technically in current limit (limit = 0). Mark nailed it. Sorry for the error! For sure. Thanks guys for t...
Looking at mine, I think is something wrong. Set to Volts. Current all the way down. No wires. Adjust the volts knob and nothing happens. If I adjust the current a little bit, than I can adjust the volts. When I switch to mA nothing happens if I adjust the knob. I think this is a different one. http...

Also if I have less volume some weird echo appears on the beginning of the discs. I'm using a Presto 6N with MyShan...
Ok. I made some modifications to my setup and this is working great so far. Just a small aluminum tube directly to the latex to the jar. I know the tape is not a good idea, but works. No static and I can get all the chip. http://anderson-oliveira.com/IMG_5058.JPG http://anderson-oliveira.com...
