I would like to exchange know how, tips and tricks:)
I'm amazed by the sound but still have some issues to fix:)
Are you using a lamp to heat up the polycarbonate and and and..
I really need to get another turntable or base.

To be honest i actually think it is not right that this guys sells copies!
That's illegal anyway!
It belongs to neuman and they have the copyright in the first place.
Just because I burn a music cd and put the effort in to copy it does not mean I can sell the work from someone else....

why driving anyway? if you book ahead you pay 30 bucks on a plane.
I would go in the morning to basel then catch a train to solothurn.
And after you checked it out you could also go to zurich. nice city to visit for sure.

Tolerance of a Technics SL 1210?

Lot's of you guys are cutting on a normal technics i believe.
Have you guys ever measured the platter (surface)?
My platter has a play of 0.2mm which is way too much i believe.
I don't really wanna get something machined right now.
Have you guys a solution for this?

yeah sure no casting way too much affort..
of the shelf steel already machined (surface grinded)
would be the go i think.
Skf might be able tu supply some sort of control unit as well I'll check.
And Skf has also a department in the us.
