Testing Linearity
With all this really interesting talk about RIAA circuits, I am just wondering what's the best way to test linearity. What is the standard procedure for this?
i know this procedure (i believe its the same for cutterheads...)
you need like http://www.trueaudio.com/rta_faq1.htm 9
pink noise, start the test with a little signal, be careful! or the cutterhead will smells like....and cut
need a good turntable with a catrigde-riaa preamp tuned for best fidelity possible, and compare with the rta
for calibrate your turntable and cutterhead....
