What's the T580 version?
Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
Thanks, can't see any difference on photos and can't read that language unfortunately. Can you summerise differences?
Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
Ok thanks, looks like just updated head, probably different drivers.

From the 'updates' section on the Vinyl Recorder order page: http://www.vinylrecorder.com/order.html

the money has been well.
just waiting for more information and video presentation.

Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
I have also been trying to buy a lathe from Souri for over a year with little or no communication.
Zez cutter looks nice but current list price is a bit unrealistic. But maybe the video will prove its worth!

Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
Unrealistic??? Add all option of a Vr.... looks who is unrealistic... VR and ZEZ can't be compared.

Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
I agree, looks great with features, not criticising but one could make successful cuts for half price using T560.
I know someone here who is seriously interested in the ZEZ and if they buy they will sell me their T560.
I think everyone waiting for final price, reviews, videos etc.

Final price is done.
Video is almost done.
Review : we will have many to share.
You can use many lathe to make successful cuts... (with different quality from a system to an other)

Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
Hello everyone, thank you all for your interest in ZEZ Cutter One.
As Myshank said, there is no way to compare VR with ZEZ, they are different systems, with a differential that makes all the difference: FEEDBACK CUTTERHEAD in ZEZ One.
For many, feedback is just a make-up to make it expensive and justify the costs, but NO.
I'll try to explain it in a simple way.
In a dynamic cut head with the resonance frequency at 1khz, when we apply an audio signal 1khz / 0db, we will have 1khz/0db at the blank, right?
NO!
We will have 0db in 1khz, -20db in 2khz, -40db in 4khz, -80db in 8khz.....(just a example)
These "ghost" frequencies are called harmonic.
Now imagine these ghost frequencies between 20hz to 20khz.
In the dynamic cutterhead you can only control the eq, not the harmonics.
But in a feedback cutterhead, the preamp board compares the signal coming from the DAW with the signal being cutted to blank, identifies the differences (resonances, harmonics, noise, eq) and applies an inverted signal to the amplifier, canceling everything (or almost everything) other than the signal applied to the input of the amplifier.
Less resonance = higher final quality.
Less harmonics = higher final quality.
When we use a dynamic cutterhead, we lose a lot of time equalizing and trying to cancel mastering problems, some songs are practically impossible to cut without many distortions.
This is just one of the benefits of a feedback system.
I wrote this based on my little experience over the years developing ZEZ Cutter One, but I may be wrong, and if so, please correct me. Hehehe.

Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
Great news, finally one other plastic cutting solution will enter the market. Good for all. But we should not forget that it still has to prove itself over time.
Souris lathe is just working like a charm (yes also with feedback heads, all professionel cutters here in germany use those afaik) since so many years.
I wish you all the success with this product and I quite some people who would be really intetested, but I will be sceptical til the day I can try one myself.
Too many product comes and dies in the last years, while the vinylrecorder is still spinning and spinning...

I agree with all replies. I wish anyone the best in this market, Souri, Ciuens, Flo etc
Time will tell if ZEZ will be another long standing contender, hopefully so!

Re: Wanted Vinylrecorder T560-T580
Unfortunately the feedback head of the VR is a fake!
No way to use feedback in the VR system, since this head design doesn't allow a proper feedback pick up.
Souri just mounted an Ortofon concord on the cutterhead and pretend it is picking up the feedback of the the head.
Mixing this signal the the cutting signal can be just worse...
