LOL ok, label me sucker. I bought them cause the description states they will not be chewed up by a victrola needle like an acetate will be. I was curious. At least I'm only out a few dollars. I'll let you know how they hold up under my Victrola sound box.

I'm not sure about playback on a Victrola, but solo plates are definitely one of the best DIY materials for record blanks in my opinion. Let us now how the playback is.

are they serious?
even polycarbonate (which is much thicker and harder than solo plates) gets shredded on a victrola.
Unless you have a bamboo needle, which they really should have mentioned.
