publishing this one here, although it might belong to the playback section.

I was looking for a strobe pattern to print and came across this article http://www.jeffree.co.uk/pages/speedmeasurement.html.
by Tony Jeffree.

Really good read and found that Instead of using an image/photo editor the programmer renders his strobe patterns within LaTeX (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaTeX)

here's the code: http://www.texample.net/media/tikz/examples/TEX/rpm-disc.tex

The code is really simple and i did an edit to fit my application.

this one is for whoever has a scully and a pitch98-13.

tweaking " \segments{10in}{4in}{16}\\};" and changing the last variable should render 8-16-32 sectors...

hope this one helps.

Flo Jvo, please verify if this one is OK !

thanks for the link.

i havent verified yet.
but i got a neumann 32 strobo pdf.
just print it out on self adhesive paper and voila. you got it.
pitch13 needs the 32 strobe. doesnt work with the 16.
on pitch98 you can jumper if its 16 or 32.

i will soon have the how to install pitch13 page ready there you will find it too.

http://www.floka.com/pitch13/pitch13_32strobe.pdf

for scullys you might scale it down a little bit.
