OK, After several nights browsing unlabeled "mystery links" & cross-references in free online US Patent Office database,
here's my list of 180 fave free online patents related to record making - fascinating reading. Inspiring for the DIY'er.

They won't lay out a step-by-step plan for how to build your own cutterhead & lathe, but they do offer many
assorted details, clues, and generally interesting reading - for any DIY hobbyists/metalworkers so inclined to "take
