Anyone else had terrible trouble with the binding on this just falling to bits?

Great information, but my copy did not even really survive postage, and is now in about 6 pieces (I have only had it a few weeks).... I am probably going to separate it into a few sections and get the local copy shop to spiral bind them for me.

I despise 'perfect binding', appropriate for a disposable paperback, less for for a $70 book.

Anyone else had problems, or have I just got a dud?
