Hollywood Sapphire Group still meeting each month

I was pleased to attend the July dinner/meeting of the Hollywood Sapphire Group in Burbank. I was the guest of Don King and was able to meet many oldtimers with great stories about lathes. There is a "tube table" for those of you who do not actually cut but use valves. I was able to show them all Robert Morrison's book "Disk Recording 1930-1960". Many of the group were able to get their own copy of the book from me and the room fell silent as they all began turning the pages and looking at the new color pictures of lathes, cutter heads, and equipment specs. I had to take the books to the group because most of these guys are not on the internet, old school all the way. Check their site:

I'd be interested in a copy too, if there's still any available.
