Thanks Bob; here's a couple photos showing the full bleed capability - it's a custom dubplate with jacket I just did for a heavy metal band. I used to order the labels from europe on A4 size paper but couldn't print all the way to the edge because of the layout on the page. That's what prompted me to design my own sheets so you could get full bleed on american size paper with all label sizes.
With the A4 labels you'd have a white line either at the top, side or bottom of each label. I understand their pricing because having custom kiss-cut dies made up for record labels is expensive, so ours are priced similarly to the A4's from europe at the moment (but without the overseas shipping).

Hmmm... didn't know you could laser cut adhesive paper stock. Are they on sheets or on a roll? Can they be run through a printer? I was only aware of the kiss-cut method. I had some made years ago by a newspaper printer who had them die/drill cut; it was moderately expensive but they were pre-printed and individual labels on a spindle, not on a roll or sheet. (They were reproductions of the old yellow 'Audiodisc' label.)
Labels
Hey All
Marcos is right
These are the labels used in auto labeling machines common in say fruit juice, honey, or drink bottles and all kinds of glass or PET type packaging
Have you ever tried to peel a label off one of them?
They stick on anything they do print them and kiss cut them on one machine up to twelve colours Iit is a label on a tough carrier
Specialised but very common Look for your local Label printer not the general printing works
In these parts they are about the same cost as Marcos pointed out
Cheers

I'm a big fan of the printable labels from http://vinylike.de
You can purchase them here http://vinylike.de/index.php/store/products/printable-label-sticker-6-x-90mm-on-a4/
The paper size is not standard for the USA, but any printer/print driver (even those sold in the USA) can be used to print on these label sheets. And, you get a ton of them. 100 sheets (600 labels) for just 18 Euros. They are simple to use, peel easily, stick and hold well AND they are very thin (which I especially prefer for plastic dubs which tend to be more rigid and flat and can seesaw on a turntable with thicker labels).
I have a Photoshop template for these labels that I'm willing to share. It isn't 100% perfect but it is close enough. Your printer/printer calibration/paper feed mechanism/planetary alignment/karma make precision printing improbable at best. A well centered and proportioned label usually takes at least one or two test printings for me to get right.

Re: SELF ADHESIVE LABELS FOR VINYL RECORDS
jccc, do those have holes in the middle? They don't appear to.
Re: SELF ADHESIVE LABELS FOR VINYL RECORDS
The labels do not have holes in them. I usually put them on after i am done cutting so that it kinda gives the lathe cut a sort of a "never been played before until the seal gets broken" kinda thing
All you have to do is push the lathe onto the spindle of the turntable and it makes the hole

Re: SELF ADHESIVE LABELS FOR VINYL RECORDS
I use full-page 8 1/2 x 11 inch label stock with a 5-up template (4x 4", 1x 3 5/8"), then once it's printed I use a circle cutter - http://store.scrapbook.com/ek-ekpl1006.html - and a long-reach punch - http://www.mcgillinc.com/products/2-reach-punchline/ #53700 - to cut the labels and center holes.
Re: SELF ADHESIVE LABELS FOR VINYL RECORDS
Does anyone still have the template for the Vinylcarvers 12" records? I've purchased some from them, but can't find a template anywhere on their website & haven't had a response from my many emails in a few weeks.
