SOLD: Presto 75A project.
Hey guys,
I've got a Presto 75A project I thought I would offer here before putting it on E-bay.
There is no head, tonearm, or dampener.
The rubber tire is shot. I made a new one but it turns out the rubber was too hard and transfers rumble.
At this point I think it's a good candidate for a belt drive conversion. The motor works. Not sure if it has the correct spindle on the motor for 60hz or not. When I played with it years ago it ran fast.
As you know, these are heavy! Shipping will probably double the cost.
Sorry, no international shipping.
I'm thinking $200 should be reasonable for a Franked-Lathe platform for messing with...
Send me a PM if interested. It's located in Eugene, OR, USA if someone wants to pick up, awesome!
