Looking to track down a decent condition ROK imperial unit...if anyone has any leads?

I have found one locally, but am not up to date on value in today’s market and think they are asking a lot. $6-7k seems a bit rich being in an unknown state.

Any info on market value and any other systems (if this is out to lunch) would be greatly appreciated! Hoping for a well running system if at all possible.

I am by no means a professional appraiser but that definitely seems steep. Especially in an unknown state. But I could be wrong.

The guy has owned it a long time and used to use it,but sitting for years I am not sure what to expect.

Anyone have an idea on what these go for? 3-4K? Most old auctions are from a few years back and seemed to be 2-3k range ish

That is crazy for a ROK. Especially if it doesn't have 3-4 leadscrews.

There are a couple more cutter heads (2 audex) and a hot stylus system, but think those are on top of that.

If it’s in running condition (going to ask him to show it running) am I doing okay in the $4kish range?

Thanks for the input so far

For just the machine.........I would put it between (based on average prices) $2K-$2.5K. Even with extra screws, the extra heads and heater stylus, I still wouldn't put it at the price he's asking. Just my 2 cents.

That price is insane.

I bought one two years ago in great condition for 1200 dollars and I thought that was high at the time. Purchased another overhead unit for about 500 on ebay.
