Hi All

For some time now I have been making these disks (with square center holes) for use on my label & now a publishing service too.

Disks are 4" flexible vinyl material.
(With square center holes)
[Which work on ALL turntables]

Larger sizes leading up to 10" are coming
soon - along with some colour choices.
(Awaiting on the manufacturing side).

I am offering mono emossing for the time being, with MANY options.

from disks only to full finished original packaging & artwerke. (Design services too.)

If you have any interest in my services or products please shoot me a pm.

My web page dentzindustries.com will be back up soon too...

cheers
Cheers,
recordboy

Can I confirm you are embossing these individually rather than pressing them in bulk?

That is correct.
"Lathe Pressed" (embossed).

Lathe Pressed flexi Disks by Dentz

I say "Disk" rather than disc
because the latter pertains to cds/dvd etc.
all OLD info & patents pertaining to
old machines are stated as ""Disks"
I'm guessing you modified the title
thinking I made an error...
Yet I am calling these "Disks"...

I am hopeful in the future to stamp press
multiple copies, yet for the time being,
I am running multiple machines at once.

I also hand assemble ALL packaging 8)
Sleeves/Jackets & Covers

Cheers

p.s. I am guessing you are asking also
because in the past "flexi" was only made
one way. Not any more 8)

Good to hear.

Are you sure they are "lathe pressed" and not "lathe cut" or "lathe embossed" ?

Either spelling is correct. The music industry in recent years preferred "disc" while the computer industry favoured "disk" (eg : Floppy Disk").

If you search the origin of the word "disc" you will find it is one of the more than 100,000+ words in the English language that comes from the Greek language. In Greek it means "round and flat".

My only intention in editing your post is to keep consistency and avoid confusion. A "lathe cut Flexi disc" allows the reader to understand what it is. In any case, it looks like you are doing a great job. Keep it up.

"Lathe cut flexi disc" sounds good to me.

Thank you X)

The disk/disc thing. As I have found it said a music disc is a disk with a continues groove. So a disk is the shape, yet a disc is a disk with sound upon it. So I do understand that now fully... X)

I pm'd too
