you wouldn’t be able to mount a stereo head on a rek o kut, it would be too big.

$100? You could get a presto mono head, or an rca head if you are ok with no high end response....they sound pretty bad

I don’t think you can get a stereo head for $1,000 that is fully working. Dietrich might have an Ortofon for sale though..

also check the classifieds for Glavimat

feedback or not...

according to http://www.cutterheadrepair.com/whatthecutter.htm the whole question is basically questioon of the frequency response. So what is the order of measure to that quality loss for a non feedback head. I guess it must be hard in a second time, to "add" out of phase magnets, and what has been flozky's interrest to have built such a cutter head, for he is exellent at building a whole new range of references in the alley. So i see that more like question in the form of an answer than anything else in flo and angus notes. So the answer is yes i can catch what a feedback head means from now on... and i feel much more secure to get a little bit closer from pure accoustic physics which i intend to capture form my very own "production". thanks to you all guys i catch much better.. but still i collapse in front of the damper action. can anyone say more precisely its action?
