Hey
It is almost standard procedure with this guy He list's stuff at very high prices
Lets say he test's the market's apetite first if it sells thats it if not than he relists at some fair price and it either sells or does not
Than if it has not sold or the bidder has not performed you may see it again listed at a very low price
I assume that if he does not get the bid he is prepared to sell at he cancels the auction
I had him as a "favourite seller" for a couple of years so I could keep an eye on his items
The above is what I have deduced from watching his listings for over a couple of years now
In particular I recal a 78 RPM box for a Neumann lathe that started at $5-or 600 odd bucks
No bids, it was listed later at around the $450 with buy it now or offer
I made an offer which as not accepted
Than it was listed again at a low starting price some bids where on it and than puff! disappeared
Well these are my deductions of course as it seems that it is the same articles at different prices as well as methods of getting a sale
Cheers
