Picture Disc UV printing
Hi fellow cutters!
Can someone give some details about picture disc UV printing? Like which printer should be used, which blanks to use etc.
Any advice is much appreciated!

I would also like to know how to do it or have tips. For example, I have black PETG discs but 0.75mm. If I just glued two sheets together it would be excellent. But how to glue these sheets together. Some talk about spray glue but we don't have much detailed information on how to do it.

you can use double sided sticky foil (not sure about the exact name), no need for spray. the rest is experiments to find your workflow.South in Cuts wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 11:03 amI would also like to know how to do it or have tips. i was searching for uv printers some time ago but they were very very expensive for me, even the ones from aliexpress but from what i've learn they are used to print on any material so probably no need to change the blanks.

Cool Boryo. Thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can find this double sided sticky foil and test it.

you also need strong laminator to put out bubbles, but for the tests you can do withoutSouth in Cuts wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 12:39 pmCool Boryo. Thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can find this double sided sticky foil and test it.
