head for fairchild 539?

which cutter head would work with a fairchilld lathe 539?
bought and repaired unit
have no head or electronics
can anyone help?

It's designed to use a Fairchild 541 cutting head, but I don't know how likely you are to find one. You should be able to rig up something to mount a mono head like a presto 1d, which is what I'm trying to do on mine (also came with no cutting head.) Not sure if you can mount any of the stereo heads, I've never owned one and so I'm not familiar enough with them to be able to say if one might fit.
