Scam/Estafa/Trapaça: Vortex "Disc Cutting" System

Distinct from the "Members Only" section about business disputes, this is a section for those special few sellers who have distinguished themselves through clearly intentional efforts to scam multiple customers. If you intend to start a thread here, please check it with Steve E. first.

Dear friends, need your help...!
can anybody hearing about VORTEX Automatic C-6 (N6 version)? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8ikytbWtuY)
Whats is the beast? and what do you think about this device and manufacturers?
Don't have enough information and this guys offer very "sweet condition" for purchase...

>>>>> Moderators' Note: I've edited the title to include "scam" based on that guy's past history and based on what we know about this "system" right now. If and when things change, I might delete the word "scam".

So has anyone on this forum actually ordered on of these? I have read the other posts regarding the person behind this design and it seems the only accounts are for poorly built/designed cutter heads, im not getting involved in that argument but it did seem that a product was delivered which seems pointless if the whole aim is to scam money. Why delivery anything at all?
Is there anyone on here who has been scammed by this new offering. Actually paid for this lathe and either not received one or received a poor product? Would like to see more evidence or testimonials of it being a scam. For the price offered and the potential if this works well it is almost tempting to order one in order to make it clear one way or another wether this lathe/cutting system is real and available or not. Certainly ticks lots of boxes if it is real.

Is there no one over that side of the world who can visit and see one in person and report back?

yeah it's just very strange, everything looks just slightly off with the actual machine, and the build.
the room they're in, the fact that comments are turned off on the youtube video,
not a single person can claim to have seen or heard it, I just wouldn't trust it!

I'm always confused why people turn to this level of effort for a scam, but it's not the first time.

So many things wrong with this video from what I can see.

1. The turntable before he even drops the head looks like it's not running at the correct speed, then he drops the head and it gets so much worse.

2. I don't know about the magnification on the microscope, but I don't see any modulation in those grooves. The user takes 15 minutes it feels like to set up all these parameters but I don't see any space between tracks. Often times when he's punching numbers he's hitting them twice but they only show up once which tells me that he's pushing buttons and someone else's actually working the display, they aren't connected.

3. I didn't see any suction at all or swarf coming off, what's that all about?

4. Why would you build a $3,000 machine and then use a $200 turntable? I don't know turntables very well but that doesn't look like the higher end models that most people use.

In one of the videos, they're using a scrappy o!d 1970s BSR deck with the arm hanging off. Those things have enough trouble driving their own auto return mechanisms without grinding to a halt, never mind haviing a cutting head dropped on them. It's all extremely weird.

Something similar happens with many VR T560 users. They spend lot of money buying a VR and they use a cheap TT which is not capable of anything other than playing back a record.

Back to this Vortex cutter, other than many weird things (mentioned before) I was curious when he was "cutting" a record - instead of a blank disc, underneath there was an EMI record 🤔
