MYSHANK 340 S vs 340 Synthetic Diamonds ?

Hi all

I'm just getting into running my home built machine. So far so good using a 2nd hand MyShank 340 S diamond.

Before I order more, can anyone please tell me if the 340 Synthetic is worth jumping up to for the extra 45EUR ?
do they actually last 50% longer, and is the angle different meaning I'd need to adjust the head's angle for them to cut right ?
