Cutter head pins?

Cutter head pins?

Hello! Wondering what exactly this pin and jack system is on my K8. I might be building an external box to feed audio into.

They are old school banana plugs. The newer version has a wider diameter. On the k8 they are used for the input from the tonearm and the output to the cutter head.

On the cutter head: take the two jacks off and use the two wires to a rca or 1/4 plug, then run that to the external amplifier you want to use . Did that help?
