Pressing plant : doing everything or delegate ?

Hi,

I have a few questions about the process in a pressing plant. And sorry if my questions seems Easy or logical for you.

Can you open a pressing plant to make only the pressing and you ask specialist for mastering and cutting ? Or you have to make all step internally ?

How it works when big major ask you to press thousand of vinyl, they only send the Master and the pressing have to cut ? So the quality could be very different no ?

Yes, many pressing plants work like this.
To be successful in this business you must remember that they are "records" and NOT "vinyls".
