Newbies!

Hello! Bruce McLaird & Drew Burasco here. We're new to lathe cutting and are very interested in learning all about their operations. We currently have a Masco RK-5 home unit and are in the process of reworking a 1955 Presto 6N, with the matching 63A amp.

I do have a question...what's this? I thought it might be the motor locking bracket for moving the 6N...but I'm probably wrong.

Thank you for helping others with their interest in record lathes & recording! We're looking forward to talking with you!

Bruce

Looks like part of a tape transport.

Thanks! My 6N came from a Canadian radio station...probably something they had laying around.
