New to hand cranked 78s
Hi everyone, my name's Martin, and I've been bitten by the shellac bug. Having decided that 33-1/3-RPM-vinyl wasn't retro enough for me, I bought myself a hand-cranked suitcase gramophone on eBay (a HMV 101, ie. what these Crosley toys want to be when they grow up) and have started collecting 78s. Being a bit of a musician myself, the logical next step is exploring a way to record myself onto something that this 1920s-era technology can play, which led me to this forum. Pleased to meet you!
