Alan Graves visit 6-9-15

Alan Graves is in town and came by to chat and play with his old Presto 8D lathe.
I can't remember a more enjoyable day. I was really great to have THE Presto expert here to chat with in person. So many stories, so much history!

This 8D was of Alan's favorite Prestos, and he actually built the stand it is on. He bought this in 1961. At some point (I don't remember the date) he sold it to Steve M, and I bought it from his widow in 2014.

On the bottom of the platter is a stamp that dates back many, many decades!
