High quality lathe shots thread (troll pr0n)
Ok I figured I would start a thread with high quality lathe photography, not sure if it has been done here yet...
Freshly salvaged, you can almost smell it!...
I will link these in high-res in case any of you may want some new posters or wallpaper
And more to come!

How are these?
And yes, that cloth wiring... most of it got replaced on my lathe when I discovered parts of the insulation had worn completely through after sixty years of rubbing against stuff, and were it not for the oxidization on surface of the wire itself, the lathe carriage could potentially have been live with up to 100 volts AC.
Edit - And I realize I should have cleaned the burnt chip off the stylus in the first picture. It's like giving a nice happy smile for the camera for your prom picture and then finding out later you had a big piece of broccoli stuck in your teeth.
