My rebuilt Presto 90b cutting amp

Thanks to all who made it happen.

Bancho and also DrDub for finding it in the first place.

It is a 240 v ver

From what I understand this was located in a ice skating rink located in austra during the 50's and was used to record concerts.

Fill us in DrDub if you know any more.

25 caps and 8 or 9 valves later - a bit of rewiring to get it back to standard.

Plus a mod to allow 8, 22, 250 and 500 ohm cutter heads

8 ohm monitor out.

when we got the amp and the cutter, we pulled it out of a chicken shack.
covered with, well you know.

So the Presto 8d lathe was with it?

When did it come out of the ice rink?

all i know it was used on the ice rink to
record the orchesters playing there. on the vienna musikverein ice rink,
they used to have orchesters and big bands playing well into the late 50's.
then it got stored for some 20 years until someone bought it and stored it again in what ended up to be a chicken shack for another 25 years or so.
