fun with audax tonearm from presto k8

Turntables, tonearms, preamps, amps, cables, monitor speakers. What do you use to play back your one-off dubplates or pressed records? (related topics, too.)

I would equate this to bored housewives making candy bowls out of what could be very valuable disc records from the past.

I would definetely agree however these are mostly car parts and as for the audax arm...perhaps i will do something however it is very heavy and would destroy most any commercial record as anyone who is farmiliar with k series tonearms would acknowledge and yes, my wife was a big influence on this piece. Simply thought it might get a good laugh in the playback forum.

On a side note i considered titling this post as follows; WOW!!!BRAND NEW SP0001!!! AMAZING!!!!

I knew it! Blame Kate!

I get it. Steam Punk. Art. Cool your jets people. I like it, but would like to donate a hubcap that glitters.

I have a lot of hubcaps this is an intake cover. Late model fords work best as cymbals. Also, for what its worth the platter moves quite freely

Seems like the best possible use for one of those audax tonearms. I wouldn't let it anywhere near one of my records, ESPECIALLY a fresh cut lacquer.
