Anyone here living in FL, USA?

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Anyone here living in FL, USA?

I just wanted to reach out and see if any of y'all live in the Gainesville/central FL area and would like to talk. I recently got a cut (embossed on polycarbonate) to reproduce to the point where you can "hear the song", although there's nothing higher than "shh" in the frequency range.. however, I made the head and lathe, and was using a tungsten cone stylus, so I'm pretty proud. I'll post pics and sound soon if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Mike

Try our embossing styli on polycarbonate. We get a pretty low noise floor when weight and angle are correct. https://www.recordlatheparts.com/collections/styli
