Thermal Labels

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Thermal Labels

Has anyone ever used a thermal printer for glossy labels on lathe cuts?

If so - has anyone sourced a manufacturer that will do custom cuts for record labels? Coming up empty (x3 so far) on who can do that job. Which seems strange that most offer die-cut shaped labels/stickers but can't/won't do a pre-sliced hole in the middle of the label.

Thanks!

seems like a DIY solution would be best, Cricut or something like that?
or just a standard vinyl plotter
making lathe cuts on a Presto 6N, HIFI stereo cuts on vinylrecorder
