The Sound of Galvanics

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Not entirely related to record manufacturing, but probably still of interest to some:
The vacuum tube electrochemical synthesizer Type 8001 has a built-in miniature galvanic bath, which is too small to plate records in, but the process generates interesting sounds, amplified and further processed through vacuum tube electronics.
