I wonder.....

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

Can you get stampers that don't have a lip? I don't know a lot about the electroplating process, but all of the stampers I've ever gotten back from plants have been really shallow bowls.

Yeah, I think bricks or a cheap hydraulic press would work.

I only own one stamper, but it doesn't have a lip. Is that standard?

I'm actually kinda liking this idea - assuming of course your panini press can handle the pressure without getting crushed.

Just yesterday with my wife we made waffles... sweet. Just after reading this post... We have an old Russian waffle machine :) Just a little bit small.... and weights about 8 kg. heavy metal

Yes I think this would work - good idea. Just work out the right temperature and stamp those grooves into a PVC sheet or maybe a picnic plate.

It has "precise temperature control up to 572°F". You just need to work out how you are going to punch the centre hole dead centre.
